Welcome to Viveca Biomed

Viveca Biomed is a rapidly growing independent business, driven by a team who are passionate about female health. It was formed in 2018, to acquire the Contrelle Activgard brand, intellectual property and all manufacturing assets. Viveca Biomed relocated all manufacturing equipment to the UK in 2019 and set up a new purpose-built facility in the North East of England. Contrelle was re-launched to market in August 2021, starting first in the UK and resupplying the Nordic markets. In a short timeframe, these markets have seen strong growth. Viveca Biomed now successfully works with partners in over 20 countries, helping to improve women’s lives globally.

Our bespoke facility located in Ashington, Northumberland is fully catered to create Contrelle Activgard from start to finish.​

Quality Controlled

Each Contrelle Activgard product is inspected, checked and signed off by on-site staff.

Packaged

We package all variations of the Contrelle Activgard product in-house.​

Distributed

Contrelle Activgard is shipped to our worldwide distributors direct from our facility.

A device like Contrelle can empower women to be in control and self-manage the symptoms of bladder leakage, caused by Stress Urinary Incontinence. It can be used ad-hoc to manage intermittent symptoms, such as leaking when exercising, or more frequently to improve daily quality of life. Importantly, it can be used alongside working on the pelvic floor or whilst waiting for an alternative treatment​
